FOXG1 is a rare and severe neurological condition. The majority of children with FOXG1 cannot walk, talk or feed themselves, and they struggle to communicate their most basic needs. Jenni Rittenberry’s son, Chace, was diagnosed with FOXG1 when he was 3 years old. Since then, she has been actively involved with the International FOXG1 Foundation, which has been established to promote education, research, treatment and a cure for FOXG1.
