The Esthetician candidate will provide skin care and facials as outlined by Aveda, including the knowledge and use of the entire Aveda skin care line.
Other functions include...
- Regularly conducts make-up consultations (taking into consideration client's hair, makeup and clothing colors) with clients for different special occasions everyday and corrective make up using the Aveda product line
- Removes unwanted body and facial hair
- Provide relaxation body massage using such techniques as kneading, rubbing, and stroking flesh
- Administers steam or dry heat, or water treatments on request of the customer
- Examines client and provides thorough consultation on skin type, appropriate service, and proper at home routine and follow up treatments
- Records treatments furnished to customers
- Responsible for completing the tasks necessary to continuously build your business through referrals, suggestive selling, education, etc
- Provides every client an experience as outlined by Aveda
- Answers detailed questions about services provided
- Recommends corrective services to adjust customer challenges, as required
- Helps set up displays or arranges merchandise on counters, tables, or in shelving/display cabinets
- Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise or service
- Expected to maintain positive client retention, productivity, prebooking and service and retail sales as guided by Spa Manager
- Assist Spa Coordinator, Spa Supervisor, and/or Spa Manager as needed
- Maintain State Board Guidelines and Regulations of assigned work area and entire spa/salon
Position Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to perform esthetics by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology
