Ladies & Gentlemen Salon and Spa in Chicago is looking to hire an experience stylist to join our team.

Office: Ladies & Gentlemen Salon and Day Spa - Chicago Illinois
Location: Chicago, IL
Purpose: Licensed by the state of Illinois to preform services on clients ensuring the highest level of customer service and technical skill.
Basic Job Functions:
- Maintain sanitary practices as mandated by the Illinois Department og Professional and Financial Regulation
- Adherence to the Ladies & Gentlemen specific dress code.
- Must commit to business building practices (i.e. attending events, participating in the community service projects)
- Willingness to recruit new models and guests, to build new business and improve technical skills.
- Preform Technical services as requested by the guest
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Have a valid current Illinois Cosmetology license
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or the equivalent
Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance is a requirement for this position and will include attending all mandatory training
- Ability to have a flexible work schedule which will include evenings and weekends
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a hair or beauty salon preforming licensed cosmetology services
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Prior customer service experience desired in a retail sales environment.
- Prior Aveda Training is a plus (Salon, Spa, School, or Aveda Experience Center.)
- Advanced Training in hair design, men's cutting, razor cutting and textured hair a plus
- Knowledge and Advanced training in multiple color lines a plus
- Fashion Merchandising or Marketing experience
- Demonstrated community service experience
